About Us
Hi, I'm Kyle! Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, I headed west to Fort McMurray, Alberta, where I began my career in the trades as a Steamfitter and was introduced to the world of industrial rope access. It didn’t take long to realize that getting paid to “hang around” wasn’t a bad deal at all.
Fort McMurray is also where I met my wife, Natalie, and together we built the foundation of what matters most to me—our family. Raising our three children continues to be my greatest accomplishment and source of pride.
With both of us rooted in Eastern Canada, we made the decision during the pandemic to move closer to family, eventually settling in Saugeen Shores, Ontario—Natalie’s hometown and a place we’re proud to now call home.
My passion for climbing and hands-on work has driven me to achieve the highest level of certification through the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA). This has given me the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects in unique and challenging environments across the country.
Today, I’m proud to bring that experience home by operating Shoreside Rope Access here in Bruce County.
